Prices

Quoted program prices include operational, planning and handling charges and are (Ground transport in a 4WD Safari Converted Vehicle, driver guide, park entry fees, full board accommodation, domestic flights) based on current rates of exchange, tariffs and taxes as of January 2014 – December 2015. PEA reserves the right to increase tour prices to cover increased costs, tariffs and taxes received after prices are published and to reflect fluctuations in foreign exchange markets. PEA is under no obligation to give breakdown costs involved in any of our programs.

Payments:

Deposits: To have confirmed bookings 50 % deposit soon after the agreed itinerary to facilitate deposits confirmation for all third party services, i.e. Hotel, lodges and airlines. Final payment: 60 days before arrival.

Discounts: Early bookings attracts a discount of 5%

Name lists:

Preliminary list or number of participants: With confirmed booking

Final name list: 60 days before arrival.

Cancellation:

Bookings cancelled or reduced by numbers between:

60 -- 45 days from the date of arrival 25% will be charged
44 -- 14 days from the date of arrival 50% will be charged
In case of cancellation within 14 days of arrival or in the case of a ‘No Show’, 100% of the booking will be charged

In some cases more strict cancellation rules apply and in some cases like bookings of hotels and transfers only, we will be able to refund you more depending on our direct costs involved. Cancellations must be made in writing.

In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a tour for any reason we will try and offer the choice of an alternative arrangement or you will receive a full refund. We will do our outmost to inform you about any cancellations earliest possible and latest 14 days before commencement of our services.

Limits of Park East Africa Ltd Responsibility

PEA is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of hotel/airline services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other purchased means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive/depart on time.

Passports & Visas

Valid passports are required for travel to the destinations in our website and brochures. Check with your travel agent or with us for the latest visa requirements. Please note that passports must be valid for six (6) months after the return of your journey and should also have sufficient blank pages for visas and immigration stamps. PEA cannot be held responsible should you be denied entry to a country due to non-compliance with these requirements.

Gratitude’s

Gratuities are not included in the price of your tour. Tips to driver/guides, mountain guides, cooks, porters and other support staff are at the traveler’s discretion and should be based on the level of satisfaction with services received. A $10 to $20 per day is the normal accepted rate.
