Day 1:

Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to Lake Duluti Lodge for overnight (bed & Breakfast)

Day 2:

After breakfast, you start this exciting tour with a drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Game drive and picnic lunch in this small gem of a park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley Wall. Dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge, overlooking the Lake (full board)

Day 3:

This morning, you continue your scenic drive to the breathtaking Ngorongoro Highlands and descend to the floor of this famous caldera for game viewing. Lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, perched on the Crater rim (full board)

Day 4:

COn to the Serengeti and one of the most amazing sights in the world – the great Migration of Wildebeest and Zebra on their annual trek across the seemingly endless plains. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge, located in the heart of Serengeti National Park (full board)

Day 5 & 6:

Two full days in which to explore these vast plains. Follow the migratory herds and look out for lionesses slinking through the golden grass; spot the stalking cheetah and the shifty-eyed hyena as they pursue and catch their prey. Drive around kopjes, along rivers and through the woods to discover some of the other, myriad, marvels of Serengeti National Park – a wonderland of wildlife and brilliantly-hued birds. Meals and overnights at Serengeti Serena Lodge (full board)

Day 7:

This morning your driver/guide will take you to Seronera Airstrip in time to board Regional Air’s daily, scheduled flight to Arusha Airport. Here you will transfer to another Regional scheduled flight for the short trip to Zanzibar Airport, where our representative will meet you and drive you to famous old Stone Town for overnight at Africa House Hotel or Emersons & Green (half board)

Day 8:

Discover Zanzibar, a magical name for an enchanted isle. Take a plantation tour through fragrant fields of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and other spices. Visit the numerous historical ruins and stop over in Jozani Forest where red colobus monkeys peer curiously at you through the leaves of 100-year-old trees.

Learn about the island’s history and culture at the National Museum, which contains relics, carvings and exhibits from the time of the Sultans and the early explorers. Drop in to Livingstone House, where the famous explorer stayed in 1866, explore the narrow, winding streets of Stone Town, with its bustling bazaars, old Arab buildings and beautifully carved, brass-studded wooden doors. Overnight at Africa House Hotel or Emersons & Green (half board)

Day 9:

After breakfast we will t ransfer you by road to the East Coast for the start of your beach holiday. Your home for this, and the next two, nights will be at Matemwe Beach Bungalows, a delightful beach hotel located near to a delightful fishing village (half board)

Day 10 & 11:

Relax on Matemwe’s white sand beaches, fringed with gently waving coconut palms. Watch from your verandah at sunrise as fishermen set out to sea in their traditional sailing dhows. Swim with dolphins in the warm waters of the azure Indian Ocean.

Take a trip across to Mnemba Island for snorkeling and diving amongst the multi-hued fish of this atoll’s vibrant coral reefs and discover the underwater world of Mnemba’s placid lagoon. Overnights at Matemwe Beach Bungalows (half board)

Day 12:

Today we will drive you back to Zanzibar Airport to connect with your ongoing arrangements.
